EASY
Everybody who enjoys gentle walking in the countryside and is in reasonably good physical condition can walk at this grade. It is normally walking without big height changes and for 3 to 4 hours. The walks usually cover 4- 7 miles. Elevation gain and loss 500´to 1500´.

MODERATE
This grade is recommended to all people in good physical condition. Previous experience of hill-walking is useful but not essential. The height changes are not great. You should feel comfortable walking 4 to 5 hours. The walks usually cover 5 - 9 miles. Elevation gain and loss 1500´to 2500´.

STRENUOUS
This grade is suitable for people in good physical condition, with previous hill-walking experience. Difficulty is not only in length but also in considerable changes of height and altitude during the walk. Some walks can be up to 6 - 8 hours. The walks usually cover 8 - 12 miles. Elevation gain and loss 2500´to 3500´.
